As the final project of our studies we were tasked with remaking a game from the 20th century, we choose Heretic

Heretic is a dark fantasy first-person shooter game released in December 1994. It was developed by Raven Software using a modified version of the Doom Engine and published by ID Software

The game has 2 weapons

a staff which works as a low damage machine gun

 a crossbow that works as a high damage low fire rate weapon

There is also a melee attack

And if the enemy is stunned, melee attacking can be used to suck its soul, healing the player

Our remake of the game takes a lot of inspirations from the original game in the level and monster design, while having some fun with the weapons and mechanics
